While scrolling Twitter, we came across a post from Max Weinbach of XDA-Developers in which he had posted some screenshots of his new OnePlus Nord automatically installing Instagram, without any permission of the user. It seems that new OnePlus smartphones, like the new OnePlus Nord, or even the OnePlus 8/Pro, have some kind of Facebook bloatware pre-installed.

Although most of us end up installing Facebook on our OnePlus devices, many prefer not too. So here’s a simple method to remove Facebook bloatware off your OnePlus smartphone. Don’t worry you can still install Facebook and Instagram through Google Play Store, this process will just remove any shady Facebook-service that might have come pre-installed on your smartphone.
