A New Leak Details Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Cameras

    Samsung’s next foldable is still quite far from the dawn, but we tipsters around the globe have started spoiling Samsung’s party already. According to rumours, the South Korean electronics giant is all set Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy S21 FE in August. However, months before its arrival, a new leak has surfaced online, spilling beans on Galaxy Z Fold 3′ camera.

    According to @FrontTron, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with five cameras, including two front-facing and three rear-facing cameras, just like its predecessor, instead of one major change.

    At the front, the foldable is expected to feature a 10MP Sony IMX374 selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout on the cover display. Meanwhile, the second front-facing camera will be an under-display 16MP Sony IMXx71 camera with 1μm pixels bringing a seamless viewing experience.

    Now moving to the back, the next-generation Samsung foldable is said to bring a triple camera system onboard comprising a 12MP wide-angle cameraa 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. There’s not much known about these cameras, but it is expected to feature a 3x telephoto lens with OIS. Rumours also suggest that all the cameras will be capable of recording 4K 60fps videos. Moreover, the 12MP primary camera is expected to come with OIS for better low light performance and smoother videos.

    Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to feature a 7.5-inch foldable display and a 6.2-inch cover display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured to be powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC coupled with atleast 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Further, it is rumoured to come with a 4,400mAh battery, support for S Pen and an official IP rating for dust and water resistance.
