Poco X3 GT Debuts with Dimensity 1100 Chipset

    Poco is back with yet another rebranded Redmi smartphone, dubbed Poco X3 GT. The X3 GT is the third device in the X3 series after the X3 NFC and X3 Pro, and it’s rebadged Redmi Note 10 Pro 5 that launched in China last month. The Poco X3 GT is one of the first Dimensity 1100 phones outside China.

    The Poco X3 GT sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning’s strongest Gorilla Glass Victus. There’s a punch-hole cutout at the front housing a 16MP camera for selfies. The fingerprint sensor is housed in the power button, and it also features stereo speakers and an IR blaster.

    Under the hood, Poco X3 GT is powered by Dimensity 1100 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The Dimenisty 1100 is built on the 6nm process node and features 4x A78 cores at 2.6GHz and 4x A55 cores at 2GHz. The X3 GT packs a 5,000mAh with support for 67W wired charging. It runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.

    As far as optics are concerned, the Poco X3 GT features a triple rear camera setup. The camera setup includes a 64MP camera along with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. It is capable of recording videos at upto 4K@30fps.

    The Poco X3 GT will be retailing at a suggested MRP of $299 for the 8/128GB storage variant, while the 8/256GB variant will be selling for $329. It will be available across different regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. However, the Poco X3 GT won’t be making its way to India, as confirmed by Anuj Sharma, Country Head, Poco India.
