Microsoft recently updated their Wireless Display Application, which now lets users stream PC games onto Xbox One. The app was earlier known as Connect to Windows.

Wireless Display Application connects to the console via Miracast to stream the data from PC. The service works similar to the Steam Link and Playstation Remote Play. The users can choose from the various titles from the steam store as well as windows store.

Currently, the service doesn’t allow users to play games with keyboard and mouse in the console. This feature, however, could be added later to the Wireless Display app.

The app offers various latency settings to choose from, and one is dedicated to gaming. The app is also good for streaming a video, apart from protected content such as Netflix.

With the ability to stream PC games on Xbox, and Microsoft’s recent move to release their Xbox games on PC, it’s a clear that Microsoft wants to unify its various platforms and bring gamers together.
