Xiaomi India has launched the Mi HyperSonic Power Bank in India for Rs. 3,499. The 20,000mAh capacity power bank is capable of fast charging up to 50W. Let’s take a closer look.

The I/O on the Mi HyperSonic gets three ports — 1 USB Type C and 2 USB Type As. The Mi HyperSonic is capable of powering up smartphones at 50W and even a laptop at 45W. The USB Types C doubles up as the charger for the power bank itself, filling it up to the brim in just 3 hours and 50 mins.

The construction is also sturdy. Its made out of Polycarbonate-acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or PC-ABS. The matte black finish looks good too. Strength also treads inside. High-density Li-poly batteries make them compact and safe. The 16 layer chip protection also promotes safety against short circuits, voltage protection, temperature protection, etc.

Double-tapping the power button enables low-power charging mode for smaller devices such as accessories that aren’t built to be fast-charged. These devices include – smartwatches, Bluetooth headsets, fitness bands, etc.

The Mi HyperSonic Power Bank is available at a crowdfunding price of Rs. 3,499 starting 30th July 2021.
