Samsung A03s Support Page Goes Live — India Launch Soon

The support page for Samsung A03s has gone live and the India launch seems imminent. The new device will play at a sub-Rs. 10,000 price point making it an important player for Samsung’s budget smartphone business.

Samsung A03s: What to expect?

Design-wise the budget device will be in line with the family design language. At the back, the renders from 91Mobiles show off a 13MP triple camera set-up at the back. While the front camera duties will be handled by a humble 5MP unit housed inside a teardrop-shaped notch. There isn’t a hole-punch display here. The display however is large at 6.5-inches, the specifications of which might be similar to the model it’s succeeding, the A02s.

The thick 9.1mm body, brings in 2 new key changes from the previous-gen model – a USB Type C port and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The thick footprint also means that A03s will continue featuring the 3.5mm headphone jack, an essential considering the price point.

The internals of the device however isn’t known yet as benchmarking tests have not been found or leaked. But expectations say that it will not be a head-turner. It will, in true Samsung fashion, just enough to get the job done.
