Turmeric is known to have a very strong anti-inflammatory effect and is also known to be an antioxidant. Adding turmeric to milk and having it before going to bed can minimise the risk of cold. Black Pepper can also help combat cold as it is enriched with Vitamin C, which boosts immunity and works as an excellent antibiotic.
