Xiaomi Mi 11 Set to Debut on December 28, Will Feature Snapdragon 888 Processor

    Earlier this month, Qualcomm introduced Snapdragon 888, it’s next top of the line chipset for 2021, and at the same event, Xiaomi revealed that Mi 11 series will be one of the first Snapdragon 888 powered smartphones, and it is indeed launching soon.

    A poster shared by Xiaomi’s co-founder and CEO Lei Jun on Weibo reveals that the Mi 11 will be launched in China on 28th December at 7:30 PM. Well, the poster doesn’t reveal much about the Mi 11 but we expect Xiaomi to reveal more information in the coming days. Prebookings for the Mi 11 has already started in the country for Â¥9999.00 through JD.com.

    Xiaomi Mi 11 Rumored Specifications

    The Mi 11 is expected to come in two variants, the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro with one of them bearing model number M2011K2C. Further, both the variants will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 and will be sporting a 108MP sensor at the back.

    Recently one of the Xiaomi Mi 11 variant 12GB RAM appeared on Geekbench bearing model number M2011K2C registering a single-core score of 1135 and a multi-core score of 3642, showing an increase of 10-20% over the Snapdragon 865 powered Mi 10 Pro.

    According to some of the promotional images, one of the Mi 11 will be sporting a curved display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera in the upper left corner. Whereas at the back, there are two big sensors and a small one complemented by a flash in a square camera module.

    Meanwhile, the Mi 11 Pro is rumored to boast a 6.67-inch curved S-AMOLED display panel having a refresh rate of 120Hz and QHD+ resolution. Moreover, the M11 Pro is expected to pack a 4970mAH battery with support for 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging.

    For now, we don’t have any word on the global launch of the Mi 11 series but we expect it to arrive after a few months of its arrival in China.
