Xiaomi launched its recently announced 5G mid-ranger, the 11 Lite NE 5G, in India. The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is refreshed Mi 11 Lite 5G, launched earlier this year. It follows the same design language as the former with a few minor upgrades.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G – Features and Specifications
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G features a 6.55-inch FHD+ 10-bit AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The 11 Lite NE 5G is one of the few smartphones to come with support for Dolby Vision in addition to HDR10+. The panel has a peak brightness of 500-nits, 100% coverage of DCIP-3 colour gamut and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone weighs 168 grams and measures just 6.81mm in thickness.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It boasts a 4,250mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone runs MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box on top of Android 11. Xiaomi promises 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates with the 11 Lite NE 5G.

On the optics front, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G sports the same camera setup as its predecessor. The rear camera setup is led by a 64MP camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP tele-macro camera. The smartphone is capable of recording videos at 4K 60fps. Meanwhile, on the front, it has a 20MP camera housed inside the punch hole cutout for selfies. It comes with dual stereo speakers alongside hi-res wired and wireless audio. Connectivity features on Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G include support for 12 5G bands, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, dual speakers, and USB Type-C.
Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G – Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be available in India starting October 2 on Amazon, Mi Store and retail stores. The smartphone will be available in four colours – Tuscany Coral, Jazz Blue, Vinyl Black, and Diamond Dazzle. It can be purchased in two storage variants – 6GB+128GB or 8GB+128GB, priced at Rs. 26,999 and Rs. Rs 28,999. However, the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G will be available at a discounted price of Rs 23,499 and Rs 25,499, respectively, during the Diwali with Mi sale.Â
