Though Whatsapp Web allows a workaround for users keen on running the popular messaging platform on their PC, the lack of support for Android tablets/iPads makes it hard for regular users to seamlessly text whilst working on another device.
Though this feature has been confirmed to be in testing, we still don’t have a solid launch timeline on our hands to let you know when we can expect it to go live. Knowing WhatsApp’s track record with respect to iterative updates, you can expect this feature to be available to users that have enrolled in the Beta program first, before it’s ready for complete prime time.

Younger users now prefer platforms like Instagram for their daily conversational fix, thanks to it’s feature-packed text ecosystem that’s both fun and involving – WhatsApp truly does seem a little drab by comparison.
