Many leaks have confirmed that Realme is soon coming to expand their lineup of Android TV devices with the launch of a new Realme 4K TV Stick. Like most other TV Sticks in the market, this one will be a simple device that would convert any Non-Smart TV to a smart Android TV one, as long as it has an HDMI port.
According to Realmetimes, this new Realme 4K TV Stick would be compatible with HDMI 2.1, which would allow one to connect it to their TV. As for what it could offer, 4K at 60FPS would be the target, which means it would compete with the more premium TV sticks like the Fire TV Stick 4K by Amazon. Along with support for 4K, the TV Stick would also support HDR10+ and come with Bluetooth v4.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi support for a faster wireless connection.
Furthermore, the Realme 4K TV Stick is supposed to be powered by a Quad-Core CPU and 2GB of RAM, which should be fine for streaming in 4K. Along with that, 16GB of internal storage would allow for storing Apps and Games. As for the remote, the source mentions that the remote would be a Bluetooth enabled voice remote.
While this is something that we aren’t sure about but the Realme 4K TV Stick could run the new Google TV UI. Compared to the regular Android TV user interface, the Google TV UI has brought many changes to the actual UI, and it looks much polished and clean. The price is supposed to be under Five thousand in India, and as said before, it would compete with the Fire TV Stick, which is one of the most selling TV sticks in the market.
Along with the launch of this new 4K TV Stick, Realme has also teased to be launching a new Smart TV Neo. It is expected to come with a 32-inch bezel-less LED display with TÜV Rheinland’s low blue light certification. Like their other Smart TVs, this one could feature most of the same features while keeping the price fairly low. We expect the other details to be revealed on 24th September, as that’s when all of these new products are supposed to be launching.
