The i9-9900KS teased earlier this year at Computex now finally has a release date. Intel announced that its new flagship, the 9900KS will launch tomorrow on October 30th. Featuring a whopping 5GHz across all 8 cores, it definitely is one-of-a-kind. This will definitely boost gaming performance by a huge margin. There are already a few benchmarks available. However, we will only know the full extent of its performance after it launches.

Compared to the current 9900KF flagship, the 9900KS costs only around $25 more. Performance-wise, the KS offers a 300MHz all core turbo- boost compared to the 4.7GHz of the KF. On paper, the 9900KF offers 15% better performance per dollar compared to the KS. However, if you really need the most that you can, the KS is your CPU.

Moreover, it also includes a one-year warranty. Since it comes factory overclocked and is highly binned, you can probably even get it running at a higher boost speed. I’m personally looking forward to professional overclockers have a field day with it. Just remember to get a flagship AIO as well.

The 9900KS is an 8-Core/16-Thread processor with a 127W TDP. It has a base clock of 4.0 GHz and a boost clock of 5.0 GHz. It is compatible with Z390 motherboards and will launch tomorrow. Keep in mind this is an exclusive processor and will be available in limited quantities.
