If you’re in the market for a decent gaming laptop and on a tight budget, it can be quite difficult to find to fit your needs. While we would still recommend building a PC for better performance, sometimes a laptop is the better choice. However, with every generation, it’s getting easier to find a decent gaming laptop which is also affordable. Here are some of our top recommendations:

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT: The Best Gaming Laptop

    Gaming Laptop FX505DT

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DT is one of the best gaming laptops period. With a Ryzen 5 3550H and a GTX 1650 offering great 1080p gaming performance even in demanding games like The Witcher 3 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. For memory and storage, it consists of a 512GB SSD and speedy RAM. As if that weren’t enough, it also includes a 120Hz screen with an IPS panel. It also weighs only 2.2Kg, making it a great budget gaming laptop.

The Lenovo L340 is a great gaming laptop for the ones who like to maintain a low-profile. If you want a laptop that doesn’t scream gamer but still want great performance, the L340 is your best bet. With an i5-9300H that has a turbo boost of up to 4.1GHz and a GTX 1650, it can easily hold its own in modern titles at 1080p, hitting 60 frames in most games. It also comes with an excellent display and has both options for an SSD as well as an HDD for storage, making it a notable contender for the price-point.

ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY: The Best Large Gaming Laptop

    • Price: Rs. 58,127
    • Processor: Ryzen 5-3550H
    • Graphics Card: AMD RADEON RX560X GDDR5 4GB VRAM

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY is quite similar to the FX505DT mentioned previously, with the most notable difference being the Radeon RX 560X instead of the GTX 1650. Some other minor differences include an HDD instead of an SSD and the 17.3-inch IPS display with a 60Hz panel. While the RX 560X falls just short of the GTX 1650 in certain games, it still offers great performance at 1080p for the price point.

With a decent processor and an MX150, it can play older titles and some less demanding games with decent 1080p performance at 30 frames. It also comes with a great I/O and an excellent display.
