Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Bossfight Leaked, in Actually Good Quality

It was just a day ago that we reported a 30 min gameplay footage leak from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Seems like Ubisoft is having trouble keeping secrets until the conference, as a 7 minute bossfight has again been leaked, but this one is thankfully actually in good quality. We’re talking 1080p 60 FPS at good bitrate.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla leaked bossfight

In the 7 minute long footage, female Eivor fights a demon goddess named Cordelia in a muddy environment during a thunderstorm that the goddess summons. The lighting, reflection, and particle effects actually look much better than the previous leak. The combat actually looks decent, with the enemy actually properly responding to the attacks, unlike the last clunky fight we saw.

Honestly, I lost my hype for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla seeing the previous footage. But looking at this now, Ubisoft has my attention once again. It actually seems a bit suspicious, seeing the good quality of the footage, as if Ubisoft leaked this deliberately to undo the poor reception of the previously leaked footage. I’m not complaining though.

We’ll get to see Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in-action officially this July 12, along with Watch Dogs Legion, at the Ubisoft Forward event. Also, don’t forget to grab your free copy of Watch Dogs 2 on Uplay during the event.
