Yes, you read that right. Watch Dogs 2 will go free for a limited time and it’ll be free to keep forever, if you get it during the given pretty limited time.

Ubisoft just posted the Line-up reveal trailer for their upcoming event Ubisoft Forward to showcase their upcoming titles. The game will be free to grab during the event, right after the pre-show ends.

Ubisoft Forward is scheduled for July 12, with the pre-show beginning 9PM EEST, and the main event following up from 10PM. For our Indian readers, that’s 12:30AM for the event. So keep your coffee ready if you wanna grab a free copy of Watch Dogs 2.

Ubisoft only mentioned “Unlock Watch Dogs 2 for free” in the trailer, without the when and how. As usual, Daniel Ahmad came to the rescue before official details.

The game takes place in San Francisco, and puts you in the shoes of a new hacker, the charming and talented Marcus Holloway. While Watch Dogs 2 is fundamentally very similar to the original — it takes a new spin on a lot of the mechanics which make the game more exciting and fun, most importantly.

The event will showcase the next installment in the series – Watch Dogs Legion, along with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Hyper Scape and possibly even Far Cry 6.
