Tinder, it’s one of those apps that all of us use at some point, be it to find that “Special Someone”, or just to see how attractive people of the other gender find you. Though not everyone likes to admit that for a variety of reasons, it is not just one of the most widely used dating apps, but one of the most popular ones in general. Today on the Tinder blog, the dating service confirmed the addition of a new, “Loops” feature.

Tinder Loops Profile VideoLoops is similar to the status/stories on Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram. It lets you take a two second video that will made into a loop and set as your profile video. For those of you worried about your looks not being as good as that perfect shot you uploaded on every social media platform, fear not. Tinder will soon let you add nine photos or Loops in your profile instead of six allowed at the moment.

Loops is currently being tested on iOS devices in Canada and Sweden. Extract from the Tinder blog:

Tinder’s new two-second Loops, where you can take any video and create a loop from it.
Get ready for more matches.
That’s right, you get two seconds of looping video to show more personality, which is the best way to get more right swipes. You can be flirty, you can be fun, but no matter what, be you. And be quick about it, because everyone who’s anyone will be showing off their moves. (Let’s face it; still photography is so last November.)
How to decide what to do with those precious two seconds? Well, we have a saying here at Tinder: if you love it, loop it.

My interests range from Human Psychology to Computer Hardware. I'm a perfectionist and I only settle for the best, both when it comes to work and play. Yeah I know I'm no fun at parties. I started TechQuila with a friend as a hobby and currently I'm the Editor-in-Chief here. I'm also pursuing a degree in Engineering and write mainly for the Gaming and Hardware sections, although every once in a while I like to test my skills in the other categories too.
