While most companies are busy releasing budget phones to the market, Essential has just dropped the price of their flagship, the Essential Phone down to $279.

Essential Phone being offered at $279

The Essential Phone comes with last year’s flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It has a 13MP f/1.9 camera with 4K 30fps capability and an 8MP front camera. The battery capacity is 3040mAh and its fast charging is rated at 27 Watts which the highest for any phone. At this price no other phone comes even remotely close in terms of raw specfications.

The design of the phone screams premium. It packs an edge to edge display with one of the best notch designs in any phone. The body is made of titanium and ceramic which are extremely durable and premium materials. Its astonishing how they’re selling the phone at such a cheap price.

The cherry on top is that this phone comes with the latest Android 9.0 Pie. Even the flagship Samsung LG and HTC phones will take several months to get that update. You’re also getting an Amazon exclusive colour variant, the Halo Gray.

We are not sure how long this deal will last because the stock is limited. So if you’re looking for a midrange phone you won’t find a better deal than this.

You can buy the phone on Amazon from here.
