Samsung Quietly Launches Galaxy A01 With a 5.7-inch Display, Snapdragon 439

Samsung has now revealed a new model to it’s a Series smartphone variant. The smartphone is called by the name as Galaxy A01, it is a budget smartphone, and it will compete against the entry-level smartphone from the other brands.

On the specs part of the Galaxy A01, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch display with the HD+ resolution. The display sports a waterdrop notch Infinity V display design. It is powered and supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC with the RAM of 2GB and 16GB internal storage.

The storage is even further expandable via the MicroSD card. The smartphone features a face unlocking as there is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the entire package is backed by the 3000mAh battery.

In the photography department, smartphones come with a dual rear camera setup. And sports a 13MP main shooter offering an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front department, it has a 5MP selfie shooter. The handset runs on the Android 10 OS, which is based on the OneUI 2.0. Some other features include the proximity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer, FM Radio.

The 2GB RAM and 12GB storage of the Galaxy A01 are priced at the cost of INR 8550 and will be available in red and blue colors.
