Xiaomi’s midrange Redmi Note series is getting a refresh and it’s going to be a big one this time. Along with it, Redmi Note 7 Pro was also teased to launch after the Mi 9 in China.
Here are all the leaks and rumors:
The phone will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor as Xiaomi threw an easter egg on the teaser poster.
Redmi Note 7 Pro will also feature a waterdrop notch similar to Redmi Note 7 counterparts.
Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to feature an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM while Redmi Note 7 will sport Snapdragon 660 SoC.
The storage options are expected to be in the range of 64-128 GB. Photography is expected to be handled by Dual rear cameras and a 13 Megapixel front-facing shooter.
Note 7 Pro could feature a display size of 6.3 inches. The phone is expected to be powered by a 4,000 MAh battery.
Pricing
The pricing hasn’t been leaked yet but going with the previous pricing trends of the Redmi Note series, the Pro variant could be priced in the range of INR 13,000 – INR 17,000 while the Redmi Note 7 could be priced somewhere around INR 10,500.
The Redmi Note series by Xiaomi is known for the value for money it offers. Aggressive pricing with powerful internals makes these phones a no-brainer for anyone in the market for a budget smartphone. Let’s hope Xiaomi continues with the same market model for the Redmi Note 7 too as this could become the new mid-range king of Android smartphones.
