Xiaomi unveiled the Mi 11 Ultra a few days back and now India launch has been scheduled for April 23rd. It’s unlikely that the Mi 11 Ultra will be accompanied by its stablemates — the Mi 11, Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11i.

Mi 11 Ultra : The “Superphone”?

The Mi 11 Ultra comes with cream hardware and no compromises. For horsepower, it will rely on the current flagship SoC from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 888. Accompanying the capable processing unit are 3 storage options — 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB & 12GB+512GB. The Mi 11 Ultra is going to push out the performance on the 6.81″ 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor lying underneath the screen.

Selfie shooters are greeted by a 20MP punch hole camera on the front. Rest of the optics department is taken care by 50MP (primary), 48MP (ultrawide) and 48MP periscope (telephoto) units. Its not too hard to guess that there would be a massive camera bump at the back.

    The Second Display!

Talk about an overkill design and Xiaomi always have their own tricks to impress. The camera hump at the back house a secondary display. The display scale tips at 1.1″ in diagonal length and is an AMOLED panel with pixel measurements at 294 X 126. Interestingly enough

On the inside power is drawn from a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging which can pull it out from flat to 100% in 36 minutes. It also supports 10W reverse charging. The Mi 11 Ultra will also feature Type C, IP68 Rating, 5G support, stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and the Xiaomi traditional IR blaster. The Mi 11 Ultra will run on Android 11 layered off by MIUI 12.5.
