The first episode of the DLC, titled Fields of Elysium, was released on April 23 this year. It was followed by 2 other DLC episodes, thereby concluding the main story of Odyssey. The Fate of Atlantis did for Assassins Creed what Blood and Wine did for The Witcher 3 – Offer a new area rich with exploration possibilities. While the previous DLC, Legacy of The First Blade wasn’t as well-received as Ubisoft would have hoped, the second DLC proved far more successful.

Starting from August 26 to September 1, you can download the first episode for free on all platforms. Should you find yourself craving to play the rest of the DLCs, you’re in luck as Ubisoft is also throwing in a sale on the DLCs. You can find more details regarding the giveaway here. The season pass for Assassin’sCreed: Odyssey is 50% off, and the DLCs are also available at a discounted rate individually.

Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey was largely well-received as one of the best games in the franchise. It successfully revitalized one of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises and paved the way for more games in the future of the franchise to be embedded with RPG mechanics. While there won’t be another game releasing this year, the DLC’s long playtime should keep you invested in the meantime.

You can claim the free copy of Fate of Atlantis from here.
