Researchers now claim that the intake of vitamin B6 can aid people in remembering their dreams. According to a study published in the journal “Perceptual and Motor Skills“, a hundred members from around Australia who were administered 240mg of vitamin B6 high-dose vitamin B6 supplements before going to bed for five consecutive days showed varied results. “Our results show that taking vitamin B6 improved people’s ability to recall dreams as compared to a placebo,” said research author Dr Denholm Aspy, from the University’s School of Psychology.

Vitamin B6 will not influence the sharpness, bizarreness or tone of their dreams and will not modify other aspects of their sleep cycle.

Before consuming Vitamin B6 supplements, most of the members seldom retrieved their dreams, but they proclaimed improvements by the time the research had concluded.

“It seems as time went on my dreams were clearer and clearer and easier to remember. I also did not lose fragments as the day went on,” said one of the members after finishing the study.

Another participant in the study said, “My dreams were more real. I couldn’t wait to go to bed and dream!”

An average person spends approximately six years of their whole life dreaming. If we tend to become lucid and attain the ability to control our dreams, we’ll be able to use the time we spend to dream more productively.

    What is lucid dreaming?

Lucid dreaming is a state wherein you are dreaming while the dream is still happening. It has a lot of advantages. We could use lucid dreaming to outclass nightmares, treating phobias, creative problem solving, improve motor skills and even in rehabilitation from physical trauma.
