The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, which is expected to launch on 22nd February has been a topic of numerous rumors, speculations, and leaks for quite some time now. Just recently, multiple pictures of the card and its packaging popped up on the internet.
Now, two pre-built systems by iBUYPOWER were spotted on Amazon, both sporting the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. One of the two PCs was powered by Intel i5-9400F processor which doesn’t have any integrated graphics while the other one carried an Intel i7-8700 CPU. They were available for a price of $1079.99 for the i5 model while the one with the i7 cost $1199.99.

This more or less confirms that GTX 1660 Ti will be the actual name of the upcoming GPU. I know we already have enough evidence suggesting that but I always took those leaks and rumors with a grain of salt, but this could be the final confirmation I needed. NVIDIA fans won’t be too happy about it though, with most of them wanting the graphics card to be named something else. You can follow this Reddit post to understand what I’m talking about.
These cards are based on NVIDIA’s Turing Architecture and are meant to target the mid-range market. There’s a lot of pressure on NVIDIA to not mess things up with these. The users have huge expectations and are expecting the Turing Based GTX 1660 Ti to be the cheaper alternative to the highly expensive RTX series.
