There’s been a lot of noise on the internet about the imminent release of a GTX 11-series lineup based on the same Turing architecture, but without the RTCores. Now, an image has leaked presumably from a closed-door event where the supposed GTX 1660 has been revealed. Can’t say for sure if it’s legit or not, but here’s the shot:

    Prior Info

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1160 is expected to have 6GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4000MHz, paired with a 192-bit wide bus. The cores, on the other hand, pulsate at a base frequency of 1530Mhz and a boost clock of 1785Mhz. According to the leaks, the card will be based on the TU116-300 die.

    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

The supposed GeForce GTX 1160 Ti will leverage the same board as the newly released RTX 2060 with 6GB GDDR6 memory clocked at 6000MHz. The card will utilize the same 192-bit bus as the 1160 with similar clock speeds. The core is clocked at a base clock of 1500Mhz with a boost of 1770MHz.

This data is further evidence that NVIDIA might finally release an 11-series without the RTCores and raytracing capabilities. With the RTX 2060 priced at $349, the 1160 should cost around $200, with the 1660Ti slightly higher at $250. These GPUs are expected to be unveiled in the latter half of Feb, right around Valentine’s Day.
