Apart from announcing Mi 11 Pro, Ultra and Lite, Xiaomi also announced the Mi 11i for the global audience, and it continues to make Xiaomi’s lineup more confusing.

    Mi 11i

The Mi 11i features Samsung’s E4 AMOLED panel measuring 6.67-inch with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The panel has a peak brightness of 1300nits and supports DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10. It also supports MEMC giving a boost to frame rates while increasing the resolution of videos.

Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It has a 4520mAh battery which can be charged using the 33W charger provided in the box. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded inside the power button for security purposes. It also has Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers but the 3.5mm audio jack is missing from the scene. It runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box.

The Mi 11i comes with a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a primary 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with an f/1.75 aperture lens coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 119-degree field of view and a 5MP telemacro camera. On the front, it packs a 20MP camera inside the hole-punch cutout.

Xiaomi claims that this one comes with the “Audio Zoom” feature, capable of recording a subject’s audio at a far distance just by zooming into the subject.

This one supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and IR blaster as far as connectivity is concerned.

Mi 11i – Pricing and Availability

For the pricing, the Mi 11i will be available in three storage variants across different retail channels in Europe: Celestial Silver, Frosty White, and Cosmic Black.

    • 8GB+128GB: €649
    • 8GB+256GB: €699

As far as we know, the Mi 11i is the Redmi K40 Pro+ which might be debuting in India with the moniker of Mi 11X Pro. Confusing, isn’t it.
