After a long gap of three years, Xiaomi is back with its fourth-generation Mix smartphone, the Mix 4. The latest Mix smartphone continues the bezel-less ideology of the Mix series, and this time, Xiaomi opted for an under-display camera to offer a seamless viewing experience.
Xiaomi Mix 4: Specifications and Features
The Mix 4 comes with a curved FHD+ 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 20MP selfie camera behind the panel. Xiaomi here has used a new micro-diamond pixel pattern coupled with algorithms to ensure minimum light refraction. It uses a flexible panel with the area above the sensor having 400ppi density. The display offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
The Mix 4 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled with atleast 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It boasts a 4500mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi claims that the 120W charger can charge the phone from 0-100% in 15 minutes in boost mode and 21 minutes in default mode meanwhile 28 minutes for a full recharge in boost mode using the 50W wireless charger. Further, Mix 4 features ultra-wideband (UWB) technology.
Coming to the optics department, it features a triple camera setup. A 1/1.33-inch 108MP ISOCELL HMX sensor leads the pack with OIS accompanied by an 8MP periscope camera with OIS and 5X zoom. The third camera is a 13MP sensor with a free-form lens. It also features stereo speakers tuned by Harman/Kardon.
