Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite with 90Hz 10-bit AMOLED, Snapdragon 732G and 64MP Triple Cameras Launched in India – Starts at Rs 21,999

After weeks of teasing, Xiaomi has finally introduced its newest member of the Mi 11 series in India, the Mi 11 Lite. Out of the two Mi 11 Lite’s, Xiaomi brought the 4G variant to India while saving the 5G one for later. The newest addition to the Mi 11 series comes as the cheapest Mi 11 smartphone in India, joining Mi 11X, 11X Pro and 11 Ultra.

The Mi 11 Lite sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The panel comes with support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+. Moreover, according to Xiaomi, the smartphone uses a thinner OLED panel, which helps minimise the thickness of the smartphone. Further, the front and back of the smartphone are protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Under the hood, the Mi 11 Lite is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732 SoC coupled with upto 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. In addition, it also incorporates Xiaomi’s proprietary LiquidCool technology to keep the temperature under control during extensive usage. There’s a 4,250mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging, and the charger is included in the retail package. The smartphone runs Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box and comes with Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless support.

As far as optics are concerned, the Mi 11 Lite comes with a triple camera setup, a main 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree FOV, and a 5MP telephoto macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 16MP camera for selfies.

Mi 11 Lite will be available for preorders on June 25 through Flipkart, Mi online store, and offline retail outlets across the country. It will be available in three colours – Tuscany Coral, Jazz Blue, and Vinyl Black, starting at Rs 21,999.

Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 1,500 early bird discount on both the variants and an additional Rs 1,500 discount on the HDFC bank debit and credit cards.
