If you are in the market for a gaming laptop with decent specifications, Walmart has got your back. Walmart is currently selling the Dell G5 gaming laptop with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 at an amazingly low price of just $880.

This price is about $70 lower than what’s Microcenter is charging for the same laptop at $950. One of Amazon’s third-party marketplace seller is selling it for more than a thousand bucks. It’s not that common to find a GeForce GTX 1060 equipped laptop selling for less than a grand.


Specs wise the Dell G5 has a quad-core 2.3 GHz Intel “Coffee Lake” Core i5-8300H with turbo boost up to 3.9 GHz, 16 GB of RAM, a 256 GB boot SSD, and a 1 TB hard drive. It has an IPS Full HD display of size 15.6 inches. For connectivity, it has one HDMI port, three USB 3.1 Generation 1 ports, one USB 3.1 Generation Type-C port, 2-in-1 SD / MMC port, Ethernet and one combo headphone/microphone jack.


The GPU on this laptop is a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Max Q version which is more energy-efficient than the standard GTX 1060 with 6 GB of GDDR5 video memory. This GPU, paired with a Core i5 should be able to run about every game at 1080p without a hiccup.

If aren’t a laptop gamer and want a desktop to fulfill your gaming needs, Walmart has something for you too. Alienware Aurora desktop is currently selling at a discount of about $200 than its usual price at just $1250. Aurora is a beast when it comes to performance and it shouldn’t be surprising once you look at its specs.


It has an Intel Core i7 8700 6-core processor with clock speeds up to 4.6 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost. This processor is paired with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with 8 GB GDDR5 graphics memory and 16 GB of RAM. With the Alienware Aurora, you should be able to play any game at high to ultra-settings at a smooth frame rate.
