CD Projekt RED’s upcoming game, Cyberpunk 2077 is one that the whole gaming community is looking forward to. The polish studio has proved time and again how well crafted their games are. By now, their last endeavor, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has become a universally acclaimed title. Nearly every major AAA game that has come out since has been compared to Geralt’s last adventure. So it only makes sense that the hype surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 would be so huge.
Interestingly though, we still know only a handful of information about how the game will actually play like. Aside from a couple of trailers, we still haven’t seen any official gameplay. The studio has been promoting the sci-fi title ever since E3 this summer, and so gamers around the world have been hoping for some kind of tease at the gameplay.

As you can see, CDPR has been subtly teasing what the game will actually look like. The developers have said that the game is still, at the very least, a couple years away. But it has been promised that the game will launch on the current system of consoles, and may even extend to the next generations. Kinda like how Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag did.
The game came under quite the backlash when it was revealed that it will be in first person perspective. While I’m still skeptical about the decision, I’ll give CDPR the benefit of the doubt. The company has proven themselves before, and I’m fairly certain the decision will pan out positively. Given how CDPR has said that the game will be “vertically huge”, the first person perspective certainly makes sense. Kinda like the last couple Deus Ex installments.
