The S10 is rumored to have 3 variants, namely Galaxy S10, S10 Lite, and S10+.
A separate 5G version of the phone could also be launched at the event.

    The Good News

It is pretty much confirmed through various leaks and sources that none of the variants of the Galaxy S10 will sport a notch, instead, it will implement a new pinhole camera design with a cutout over the display. Samsung is calling it the “Infinity O” display. It will also have even smaller bezels than its predecessor.
The phone is expected to retain the fan favorite 3.5 mm jack, but this could be the last S-series phone to have it.

    Speculations

Galaxy S10 biometric security will probably include an on-screen fingerprint sensor that is expected to be faster than the other on-screen solutions that we have in the market. Facial Recognition is also expected to be improved from the last generation. Both solutions will be working simultaneously for increased layers of biometric security on the phone.

    The Camera

    Samsung Galaxy S10

As mentioned earlier, the Galaxy S10 will have a pinhole cutout on the screen for front cameras. The Galaxy S10 Plus might have a dual front-facing camera and quad rear-facing cameras whereas the S10 is expected to sport a single front facing, and triple rear-facing cameras respectively.

    Specifications

The S10 will be powered by either Exynos 9820 or Snapdragon 855 processors depending on the country it’s being sold in, this will be paired with 8GB of RAM.
The Galaxy S10 is also rumored to carry a mammoth storage capacity of 1TB, which probably will be reserved for the most expensive variant.

All that hardware is expected to be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery on the S10 Plus whereas the S10 Lite and S10 might have a 3100 and 3500 mAh battery respectively.

    The Bad News

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 is inevitably going to be more expensive than its predecessors. Galaxy S10 Lite might be a little easy on the wallet, but will also lack some features.

    Additional Leaks

A leaked live image showed inbuilt cryptocurrency support in the phones. Dubbed as the Samsung Blockchain Keystore, it is a welcome addition to the Samsung software family.
Another source claims that the S10 and S10 Plus will be available in black, green, blue, and white colors while the S10 Lite will also come in yellow in addition to all those colors.

Considering all these leaks and rumors, we expect the S10 to have a fresh look, standing apart from the notch crowd(for now).

Samsung’s folding phone – Galaxy X is also expected to be unveiled at the UNPACKED event to be held this month.
