Given how unique and exceptional Prey was, we are confident that this game will a solid entry into the Horror genre.
Here’s a look at its first trailer:
Synopsis by Bethesda:
You are Detective Sebastian Castellanos and at your lowest point. But when given a chance to save your daughter, you must enter a world filled with nightmares and discover the dark origins of a once-idyllic town to bring her back. Horrifying threats emerge from every corner as the world twists and warps around you. Will you face adversity head on with weapons and traps, or sneak through the shadows to survive? This is your one chance at redemption, and the only way out is in.
The Evil Within was well received back in 2014 with a lot of praise directed at the game’s horror elements and action gameplay. The sequel looks to be more of the same which should very well please fans of the first.
You have been given a second chance to save your daughter. And you have to go back to that demented town again, what could possibly go wrong with that…
Burning villages, pitch-black forests, and dead bodies by the hundreds are a few examples of scenes that will take away your sanity. This will probably be one seriously disturbing game. Yay! (No, I’m not crazy or deranged)
The creator of Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami will be returning to serve as producer for the sequel.
