Well, some good news here, folks! The OnePlus 5T root is now available, which means you can finally gain superuser access on your phone, and use your favorite root apps and flash custom ROMs too.
The first step is to unlock the bootloader of your Oneplus 5T, then to flash the TWRP recovery and finally to flash your choice of superuser (supersu or magisk)
We have covered everything below in our guide to help you root the OnePlus 5T easily and securely. Make sure you follow all instructions carefully and if there are any issues you’re facing, ask in the comments section and we’ll surely get back to you.
Note: Unlocking the bootloader or rooting the phone does NOT void the warranty of Oneplus devices. This process will wipe all data from your phone so make sure you take a full backup.
