Redmi TV X-Series Arrives in India – Starts at INR 32,999

    After introducing its TVs in China, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched three of its TVs in India under X-series consisting of three models, X50, X55 and X65, bringing top of the class features under a budget.

    The X-series sports a bezel-less design spanning across different sizes, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch, dubbed as X-50, X-55, X-65, respectively. All three models feature the 4K HDR panel with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz and support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG). The Redmi X-series TVs supports up to 92% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and up to 85% of the NTSC colour space. These TVs also features Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine and Reality Flow MEMC Engine for a smoother video streaming experience.

    The Redmi TV X-series comes with two 15W speakers on each side, resulting in an output of 30W. The X-series TVs comes with the support for DTS Virtual X and Dolby Audio. The X-series also comes with eARC technology that enables support for Dolby Atmos supported soundbars.

    The Redmi TV X-series is powered by MediaTek’s MT9611 SoC, which features a quad-core A55 CPU and Mali G52 MP2 GPU, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. These three TVs runs Xiaomi’s PatchWall UI on top of Android TV 10.

    As far as I/O is concerned, the Redmi TV X-series consists of 3 HDMI 2.1 ports, 2 USB ports, an optical audio jack, an Ethernet port, and a headphone jack, along with support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

    The Redmi X-series Smart TVs will be available in three different sizes – 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch, priced at INR 32,999, INR 38,999, and INR 57,999, respectively. All three models will be available on  Mi.com and Amazon India starting March 26.
