Redmi Smart TV Series Launched in India – Starts at Rs. 15,999

Redmi India today announced two new smart TVs under the Redmi Smart TV series. The smart TV comes in two sizes 32-inch and 43-inch. It brings features such as DTS Virtual X, PatchWall 4 with IMDb, Dolby Audio, and more.

Redmi Smart TV: Specifications and Features

The 32-inch Redmi Smart TV comes with an HD-ready panel, while the 43-inch model offers an FHD panel. The TV comes with Xiaomi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine that promises to deliver true-to-life colours. The Redmi Smart TVs are powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor comprising of quad-core A35 CPU Mali G31 GPU. The processor under the hood is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

Redmi claims that the new Smart TVs can reproduce up to 16 million colours. The Redmi Smart TVs also offers an option to customise picture settings. The TVs come with 20W speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, DTS: Virtual X and DTS-HD. The new TVs runs on the PatchWall 4.0 on top of Android 11 TV OS. These TVs comes with Google Assistant and offers Quick mute and Quick Wake on the remote.

As per the company, the Redmi Smart TVs are the first TVs in the segment to offer Dual-Band Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz/5GHz on an HD-ready or FHD TV. The new TVs uses MIMO technology and Auto Low Latency Mode to offer users a smoother streaming and gaming experience. Both the TVs comes with Miracast support allowing users to cast locally saved applications. The TVs comes with Bluetooth 5.0, 2x USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, an AV port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

The Redmi Smart TVs will be available to purchase through Mi.com, Mi Home, Mi Studio, Amazo and offline retail stores across the country.
