Redmi Earbuds 2C and Redmi SonicBass debuts in India

A few months ago Xiaomi’s budget-oriented sub-brand Redmi forayed into the audio segment in India with its Redmi Earbuds S TWS earphones. Back then, it introduced a pair of wired earphones at a dirt-cheap price and now it’s back again with two new audio products.

Redmi launched the Earbuds 2C and SonicBass earphones at their Beat Drop event today and just like other products, they are focused towards a budget oriented consumers.

The Redmi Earbuds 2C is a pair of TWS earphones and its a spiritual successor to Earbuds S as Earbuds 2C features a similar design for both earbuds and the charging case which comes with a matte finish.

The company claims that the Earbuds 2C can offer a continuous playback time of 4 hours if fully charged and up to 12 hours of lifespan If the charging case if the 300mAH battery in it is fueled which takes about 1.5 hours to get fully charged over the micro-USB.

These earbuds use Bluetooth v5.0 for connectivity purposes and can be paired with both Android and iOS smartphones. You can use the touch controls to control music and it can be also used to trigger the respective voice assistants on the Android and iOS.

The Earbuds 2C offers an improved DSP ENC for better call quality and it also offers basic protection against water splashes with an IPX4 rating.

Redmi Earbuds 2C comes in just black colour and will be retailing for INR 1,499 through various retail channels starting today and you can grab them for INR 1,299 for the first few days or weeks.

Redmi SonicBass is a pair of neckband styled wireless earphones with magnetic earbuds having 9.2mm drivers, dual mics to cancel out ambient noise, and a multifunction button on the right side and also has IPX4 splash and sweat resistance.

Just like Earbuds 2C, SonicBass Wireless also offers up to 12 hours of playback time and IPX4 splash and sweatproof resistance.

Redmi SonicBass Wireless Earphones are priced at INR 1,299 but for now, it is available for INR 999 as an introductory offer and can be purchased from various retail channels in two colours – black and blue.
