    Xiaomi today launched the Redmi 10, successor to last year’s Redmi 9. The latest Redmi smartphone brings quite some improvements over its predecessors for a bargain. So, let’s have a look at what Xiaomi’s latest smartphone has in store for us.

    The Redmi 10 sports a 6.5-inch FHD LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a first for the series. The display has a hole-punch cutout for the camera and supports Reading mode 3.0 and Sunlight display.

    Mediatek’s latest Helio G88 powers the Redmi 10. The chipset inside is coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It runs MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11. A 5000mAH battery backs up the smartphone with support for 18W charging; however, the box comes with a 22.5W charger.

    The smartphone supports dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS and comes with a USB Type C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, and an IR blaster.

    The smartphone features a quad-camera setup at the back. The setup is led by a 50MP camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide module, a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s an 8MP camera housed inside the punch hole cutout.

    The Redmi 10 will be available in Malaysia starting August 20 in three different colours Carbon Gray, Pebble White, Sea Blue.
