Realme X7 Max 5G & Smart TV 4K Teased — Arriving on May 31

Realme has just revealed the X7 Max 5G with some cool new features, including true dual sim 5G capabilities. Realme also plans to launch the Realme Smart TV 4K alongside the new smartphone. However, the event, which was earlier scheduled on May 4th, was postponed to May 31st, considering the devasting wave of Covid-19 that has gasped India.

Realme X7 Max 5G Highlights

According to Realme’s new teaser website for the smartphone, the Realme X7 Max 5G will be launched at 12:30 pm on May 31st. Thanks to the new MediaTek processor, the smartphone will bring the dual sim 5G abilities from the X7 Pro 5G.

The X7 Max 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G processor. The 6nm SoC houses a single Cortex-A78 (clocked at 3GHz) alongside 3 Cortex-A78 (upto 2.6GHz) and 4 Cortex-A55 efficiency cores (upto 2.0GHz). Realme claims that the new processor is 22% up in terms of CPU performance and 25% more power efficient when compared to previous generations of the MediaTek Dimensity processors. In addition, this is the chipset that lends the Realme X7 Max 5G the dual sim 5G capabilities.

Talks are that the Realme X7 Max 5G is the rebranded brother of the GT Neo. If that’s true, then the front display panel would be 6.43″ big. The display is teased about being an FHD+ SuperAMOLED 120Hz high refresh panel. The display will support a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut with an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Underneath the display will sit an in-glass fingerprint reader.

Camera duties will be handled by triple camera setup, with the main focus being on the 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor, which would work as the primary shooter. An 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro camera will accompany. The front shooter might be a 16MP unit. For juice, the Realme X7 Max 5G would rely on a 4500mAh battery with 50W fast charging. The device will be capable of 0-50% in just 16 minutes.

The 8.4mm thick device will weigh in at 179grams and will be offered in 3 colour options. It will also pack in stereo speakers and NFC.

Realme Smart TV 4K

Realme is keeping hush hush on the Smart TV 4K but we do know that it would come in 43″ and 50″ screen sizes and will support Dolby Cinema. The TV will also use a voice assistant.
