Razer announced a new gaming headset in the Kaira lineup, the Kaira X, an entry-level gaming headset for PlayStation and Xbox. The Razer Kaira X sits below the Kaira and Kaira Pro, which retails for $100 and $150, respectively.

The Kaira X comes with Razer’s proprietary 50mm TriForce drivers, designed to focus on all three portions of the audible frequency spectrum. It features oval-shaped ear cushions. The Kaira X gets a cardioid boom mic with noise suppression. It gets on-headset controls on the side for adjusting volume and to mute the microphone. The Kaira X ditches the wireless connectivity in favour of a 3.5mm audio jack, making it compatible with almost every device.

The Kaira X comes in two variants – for PlayStation and Xbox. Both the variants are exactly the same. However, the PlayStation variant comes in few fewer colour options. The Xbox variant comes in five colours, black, white, blue, red, and green, while the PlayStation version comes in black with white and blue colours.

The Razer Kaira X is available in the US for $60. However, the blue, red, and green colour options will be available for pre-orders from October 14.
