Poco has announced two new smartphones, Poco F3 and the Poco X3 Pro, and just like last few years, this one is also a rebranded Redmi smartphone. To be specific, it’s a Redmi K40 with Poco branding.
The Poco F3 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED DotDisplay with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. There’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and back.
Like the Redmi K40, the F3 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 is powered by Adreno 650 GPU. The SoC inside the paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It has a 4,520mAh battery which can be charged using the 33W power adapter provided in the box. The Poco F3 runs MIUI 12 on top of Android 11.
The Poco F3 features a triple rear camera array at the back instead of a quad camera setup seen on the Poco X3 Pro. It includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera having a 119-degree field of view and a 5MP telemacro camera. On the front, it has a 20MP camera inside the centred punch-hole cutout for the selfies.
It features an X-axis vibration motor and Dolby Atmos-tuned dual speakers along with a triple microphone array. In case you are wondering, it also has a 3.5mm audio jack.
Poco F3 – Pricing and Availability
The Poco F3 will be retailing for €349 for the 6GB+128GB storage variant and €399 for the 8GB+256GB variant. It will be available in three color options – Arctic White, Night Black, and Deep Ocean Blue with a huge Poco branding on the top. There’s a €50 early bird discount if you purchase the device from March 27 to April 6.
