Multiple photos of the upcoming Intel Core i9-10900K and Core i7-10700K chips have been spotted in the Chinese social media. These pictures give us the first look of CPUs belonging to the LGA 1200 family.
The CPUs in these leaked images carry the “Intel Confidential” seal which is probably because these are engineering samples. The implementation of a new LGA format is confirmed by the rear side of these processors.
These highly anticipated processors will be based on Intel’s Comet Lake-S architecture with a 14nm manufacturing process.
The Core i9-10900K will be featuring 10 cores, 20 threads with a base clock speed of 3.7 GHz and a max boost frequency of 5.1 GHz in single-core mode and 4.80 GHz on all cores. It’ll be carrying 20 MB of shared L3 cache.
Meanwhile, the Core i7-10700K will be an octa-core processor with 16 threads. It’ll have a base frequency of 3.8 GHz going all the way to 5 GHz on boost in single-core mode and 4.5 GHz on all cores. This one will feature 16 MB of L3 cache.
