Oppo is entering the world of smartwatches as it released the teaser of its first very own smartwatch. The company had confirmed that it will be launching a variety of new products in the year 2020 at its OPPO Inno Day event held in China last year. The smartwatch, called the Oppo Watch, is all set to launch on March 6, 2020, alongside Find X2.

The brand new Oppo Watch will come in a square design with rounded corners and a slightly curved 3D glass display. The design is quite similar to the Apple Watch and Xiaomi’s Mi Watch.

As we can see in the teaser image, the smartwatch has a gold and black coloured case with two buttons on the right edge. The strap will be available in various colours once the company officially releases the watch, but for now, only cream and black colours have been shown in the teaser.

Speaking of the software, it is being speculated that the Oppo watch might be using a watch version of the ColorOS. It will support voice calling which means it will have e-sim support as well. The watch will also carry the ECG (electrocardiogram) feature, but it is definitely more than just a fitness tracker. We will likely see more announcements and specifications in the future, so stay tuned.
