OnePlus has unveiled yet another smartphone in India – the Nord CE 2. The Nord CE 2 succeeds last year’s Nord CE – a more modest version of the Nord. The Nord CE 2 offers the fundamental features at a modest price tag like its predecessor.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Specifications
Nord CE 2 features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz, HDR10+ support, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The 6.43-inch AMOLED comes with support for sRGB and Display P3 color gamut. You also get Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the screen.
Now coming to the internals of this smartphone. The Nord CE 2 is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The chipset under the hood comes with 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal memory, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. The smartphone boasts a 4,500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC charging support. Nord CE 2 runs Android 11 based OxygenOS 11 out of the box.
As far as the optics department is concerned, the Nord CE 2 packs a triple rear camera setup and a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor on the front. A 64MP primary OmniVision sensor leads the triple camera setup on the back with a 6P lens and EIS. The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119-degree FoV and a 2MP macro shooter.
Connectivity options on the Nord CE 2 include 5G, 4G LTE, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone supports aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, AAC, and SBC Bluetooth codecs.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Price and Availability
OnePlus’ latest comes with a modest if not very modest pricing. The Nord CE 2 starts at Rs 23,999, and OnePlus is also offering an instant discount of Rs 1500 on ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI transactions. The smartphone will be available to purchase starting February 22 through Amazon India and OnePlus’ online store in two colors – Bahamas Blue and Gray Mirror.
