NZXT, the computer hardware manufacturer best known for their computer cases, heatsinks, and other cooling accessories for the PC gaming market has announced a new International Business Unit in India and appointed Naqui Ahmad as its Business Manager. Ahmad will overlook the development of the new business unit in the country including expansion into new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services.
Ahmad, previously a reputed face in NVIDIA India’s consumer business is a well-known figure in the IT Channel, selling high-performance PC components with 16 years of experience. The first 8 years of his career were spent in various capacities as the consumer and product manager at numerous establishments. His notable stints include Channel Marketing and Sales manager at Cooler Master India followed by the channel marketing manager for NVIDIA’s South-Asia division.
The focus of this new NZXT division at first will be the entire range of Kraken Coolers, the H-series cabinets and the digital PSU lineup. A lot more is expected to show up on their shelves very soon, so hold your breath. At present, the chassis market in India is largely dominated by Cooler Master, Antec, Corsair and to some extent by local players like Circle and BBC. It will be interesting to see how this move affects the desktop-cabinet landscape in India and how successfully Naqui leads his charge.
