With the success of Turing, many people have been anticipating the next generation from Nvidia, and it seems like they have been preparing to announce it in a few months at GTC in March 2020, with some of the higher-end cards being released in June.

According to the rumors going around the block, Nvidia is in no rush to get Ampere to the market due to how well the Turing series is placed compared to AMD’s offerings, but with team red in an aggressive stance, Nvidia is looking to preempt them with Ampere.

We expect that the initial launch will contain the higher end cards, i.e. the xx80 and xx70 series, followed by others later on.

The Ampere cards are expected to not only have better significantly better ray-tracing performance but also more attractive pricing than the current RTX series. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
