ITDepot, one of India’s top hardware retailers has listed NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 1660 Super for a price of Rs. 21,475. The existence of the 1660 Super is no surprise but considering that NVIDIA hasn’t said a word about it officially and yet a reputed retailer has put the product up for sale is a bit of a shock.

Looking at the specifications looks like the rumors were on point once again. This is an MSI variant and comes with the same basic specs as the vanilla GTX 1660, except it swaps out the older GDDR5 memory for GDDR6. This should result in a big boost to the overall bandwidth, but the actual performance benefits will vary from game to game and will be more apparent at 1440p rather than 1080p.

The card is listed at a price of Rs. 21,475 just shy of the market value of the GTX 1660 Ti. If the 1660 Super offers performance on par with the Ti, then this will be a steal. Otherwise, it’ll make it harder to recommend considering that the 1660 Ti costs just around 22K. We’re not sure how long will this listing stay up before being taken down but this certainly confirms the existence of the 1660 Super. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more. Cheers!
