Nvidia’s GTX 1050 has had a major issue all this time. 2GB of VRAM just doesnt suffice for higher resolution textures. Nvidia seems to have finally realised that because according to Expreview, a 3GB variant of the 1050 is in the works.

It will be occupying the spot between the 1050 2GB and the 1050 Ti 4GB. However, another rumor is that the memory bus width could be downgraded from 128-bit to 96-bit.

There is a high probability of it being an exclusive to China, since the recently announced 5GB variant of the GTX 1060 was a China exclusive as well.
