In order to get more customer on board, or rather draw customers from Airtel’s/ACT’s user base, Jio Fiber will provide a ‘no-condition 30-day free trial to all new consumers. The offers say ‘Truly Unlimited Data’, however, there’s going to be a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) that’ll limit the amount of data one can use. The addition of four new plans has widened the Jio Fiber’s portfolio to seven plans, that start from at Rs. 399 (per month) and go up to Rs. 3,499 (per month). Here’s a comparison of all the plans:

    • Rs. 399 and Rs. 699 Per Month Plan:

The new Jio Fiber Bronze Rs. 399 monthly plan offers “truly unlimited data” at 30Mbps speed, along with unlimited voice calling. Although there is no OTT service included with these plans, these packs are primarily targeted towards the economically weaker section of the society or those who don’t require Wi-Fi all the time.

    • Rs. 999 Plan

Similarly, Rs. 699 Jio Fiber Silver monthly plan offers Internet at 100Mbps speeds and unlimited voice benefits. OTT Services like Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Sony Liv and Eros Now is included in this plan. Netflix is missing, though.

    • Rs. 1499 Plan

The Rs. 1499 plan is the best plan Jio Fiber Plan, in my opinion. With almost double the speed of Rs.999 plan, it comes with a monthly Netflix subscription on top of the 11 OTT services Rs.999 plan provides.

    • Rs. 2,499, Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 8,499 Plans

These plans are mostly the same with the difference in speeds and the data limit. Rs. 2,499 plan will bag you a 500Mbps connection with a data limit of 4TB, while the Rs. 3,499 plan comes with a speed of 1Gbps and 7.5TB of data. The top-of-the-tier Titanium plan (Rs. 8,499) has a whopping 15TB of the data cap. All of these plans come with every single OTT subcription.

One key thing to note here is that the OTT Subscription is only valid on the Jio Set-Top-Box and cannot be used on any other of your personal devices.

The 10 OTT apps include Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, Zee5, Sony Liv, Voot, Alt Balaji, Sun NXT, Shemaroo, Lionsgate Play, and Hoichoi. The higher-priced plan also includes a 4K set-top box top too. The device will support 4K only if your TV supports 4K resolution.

Plan Option 2 is priced at Rs. 1,500 which will get you the 150Mbps connection, and access to OTT apps, but you’ll lose out on the set-top box.
