I think it’s an incredible film and I loved it, it’s therapy for the soul. From top to bottom – the writing to directing, it has wonderful leads and an incredible supporting cast and a nice uplifting story. So, to put it simply, it is just a really, really good film for me.

“I feel overwhelmed because I was with Sooni on her first film and twelve years later I am so glad that she waited and chose not to tell any other story but this one. I think it’s a beautiful story and it’s got a big heart, and I’m so glad that it has been told. The fact that it’s a true story lends a certain authenticity to it and I remember Sooni talking to me about how she was inspired by this film. The thing that will stay with me most is the story of these two boys. I honestly think I’ll keep revisiting this film.”

Film director Nitya Mehra

It’s amazing that 120 minutes went by so quickly and so smoothly. Usually, it’s sort of a struggle but this one was fabulous.

Mahesh Mathai (Film director)
