Motorola Edge+ launched with Snapdragon 865 SoC, 108MP Shooter

Motorola has today announced the Motorola Edge+ smartphone in India. The smartphone is priced at the cost of INR 74999 in a single model of 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage. It comes with two color options of Thunder Grey and Smoky Sangria.

Pre-booking for the Motorola Edge+ starts on the eCommerce platform Flipkart and leading offline retail stores from the 19th of May 2020.

Launch offers include a flat INR 7500 instant discount (online) or cashback (offline retail) on purchases made with the ICICI Bank Credit Cards. The scheme will also be valid for the EMIs as well as Non-EMIs transactions.

Some of the major specifications include the 108MP main rear camera, Snapdragon 865 SoC, and a huge battery capacity.

Motorola Edge+ features a curved 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, an aspect ratio of 21:9 and alarm, as well as shows the battery charging levels. It also enables the users to switch apps with just a swipe up or down on edge. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone is supported by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with the RAM of 12GB. Internal 3.0 storage is at 256GB. There is no option to expand it further with the help of a MicroSD card slot.

On the optics department, there is a triple camera setup with a combination of 108MP primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and a 0.8micron pixel size, 16MP 117-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with an aperture of f2.2 and an 8MP telephoto camera with the OIS support and provides 3x optical zoom output.

On the front, there is a 25MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 0.9-micron pixel size.

On the software part, the Motorola Edge+ runs on the Android 10 OS. It is backed by a battery capacity if 5000mAh that supports the 18W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and a 5W reverse wireless charging.

On the connectivity part, it includes the  5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
