Moto is expected to launch the Moto Z3 Play in Brazil soon after the India launch of the G6 series on June 4. This mid ranger has been leaked in every possible way over the past few weeks. There have been 3D renders and we also have a leaked spec sheet of the Z3 Play. This gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect from the device.

    Moto Z3 Play Design

Moto has been unifying the design language across all its devices. This is apparent if you see the latest E series and G series. The choice of materials may be different but the layout is pretty uniform. The Moto Z3 Play is supposed to come with a taller 18:9 display and slimmer bezels throughout. It is also expected to sport a glass sandwich design like the Moto G6. The 18:9 display is supposed to sport a 6″ AMOLED FHD+ panel. The fingerprint sensor is rumoured to be moved to the riht side of the device on the power button instead of being on the chin. The camera housing maybe a dial like one seen on the Moto X4 with a dual camera arrangement. The bottom will retain the magnetic strips for the Moto Mods this year too.Moto Z3 Play leakedMoto Z3 Play Specs

Rumour has it that this year, powering the Moto Z3 Play will be the Snapdragon 636 SoC. This will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and options of 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage. A major upgrade will be seen on the camera front. The Moto Z3 Play will sport a dual camera setup with the main sensor being a 12 MP low light sensor with a 5 MP secondary sensor for depth data. The front camera will also be upgraded to a 8 MP sensor from last year’s 5 MP one. The Moto Mods enhance the specs present and one such leaked mod is supposed to bring 5G functionality to the device. Moto Z3 Play Pricing

Moto may retain the pricing from the Moto Z2 Play at between $450 and $500 for the Moto Z3 Play. In India, this comes around to Rs 28000 to Rs 33000 which is a pretty competitive price. This is if Moto decides to bring the device to India, which most likely will happen considering the Moto Z2 Play was released in India too.
